I will be on a plane to China!
I haven't even started packing yet, but I did pick up a year's supply of toothpaste, just to be safe. In the next week, I will eat as much American food as I possibly can (just in time for the State Fair!) and enjoy being able to communicate successfully with others.

Important question: how much IS a year's supply of toothpaste? I've never had to think before about exactly how long it takes me to use a tube of toothpaste or a bottle of contact solution. I suppose if we overpack, the worst case scenario involves us starting to give American toiletries out as gifts.
